Harpenden Racqueteers Badminton Club plays at Harpenden Leisure Centre in Harpenden. We are affiliated to Badminton England.

Club nights are Wednesday evenings between 8.00 pm and 10.00 pm and we operate separate summer and winter seasons.

Visitors are welcome to attend by prior arrangement up to six club sessions during which membership will be offered by one of the committee members to players of a suitable standard.

Teams

We have approximately 30 members, both ladies and men, and enter teams in the Southwest Hertfordshire Badminton League: Mens 6 and 4; Ladies 4; and Mixed 6. We play with feather shuttlecocks (AS30s).

Cost

Fees for the 2024 summer season are £110 (May to August inclusive).  Fees for the winter 2024/25 season (September to April) will be £265 including £20 to cover individual membership of Badminton England and Hertfordshire Badminton Association. Visitor fees are £9.

Occasionally we arrange professional coaching for club members who are interested at a small extra cost.
